This month, our Good Works segment highlights 4KIDS, an organization that helps children in need.
One of our staff members supports 4KIDS and shared her experience with us.
Making a Difference for the New School Year
She donated school supplies during the new school year and put together backpacks for boys and girls of different ages. Also, she told us that contributing and making a difference made her feel good.
She said, “The new school year can be a difficult transition for any child, especially those in foster care. I valued being a part of helping them reach their fullest potential.” She also helps organize a fundraiser that raises thousands of dollars to support 4KIDS.
Every Child Deserves a Home
The website says, Every Child Deserves a Home. They encourage adults to become foster parents and to help the kids in foster care. Over the years they have impacted thousands of lives.
How You Can Get Involved
You can support 4KIDS by becoming an advocate, fostering a child, or making a financial donation. You can also participate in or sponsor one of their events and check out their podcast. 4KIDS also invites you to attend a Vision Tour, where you can hear stories about lives their programs have transformed.
In this year of 2023 as we celebrate gratitude, we are very grateful for 4KIDS and how they are continuing to open doors for kids of all ages.
