Good Works in the Community -Metro East Humane Society

March 8, 2024by Larisa Bedgood0

In these Good Works in the Community segments, we feature organizations and/or staff doing something in their community to make a difference. Every “little something” counts and together we can have a large impact in our neighborhoods and beyond.

This month we are featuring our Sales Operations Manager, Adrienne Zimmerman and an organization that her and her family are strong supporters of: Metro East Humane Society (MEHS) in Edwardsville, IL. MEHS has been around since 1986 so this is an experienced organization with a compassionate and skilled staff who care about helping animals.

As noted on their website, their mission is to:

Improve animal welfare in the St. Louis Metro East by providing quality animal services including adoption of animals, advocacy and preventative initiatives.

Adrienne and her family have donated supplies, brought injured or abandoned animals to the shelter, personally cared for injured animals, fostered animals, helped get them adopted as well as personally adopting many animals (cats and dogs) through the years.

Thank you to Adrienne and her family for being so involved in their community and truly making a difference! <3
